In the warm summer months, Slingia and its surroundings attract hikers, cyclists and families with children. Also thanks to the immediate vicinity of the Watles adventure mountain, which is only a 5-minute drive from our farm. So why go far when beautiful things are so close?

It doesn't matter if you want to go on a mountaineering excursion, for example to the Slingia Alm, a summit tour, for example to the Watles Cross, or if you want to explore the mountain world on two wheels - here in Slingia there are summer activities for everyone. Worth a visit: the breathtaking view of the Ortler and Sesvenna groups! And for families with children, the lake plays on the adventure mountain Watles. With its large adventure playground and numerous attractions for young and old, it makes every tourist's heart beat faster. Try archery, for example, or enjoy the descent with mountain go-karts.

In winter, Slingia and the Watles adventure mountain become a true white wonderland. With perfectly prepared slopes and modern lifts. With cross-country ski runs right on the doorstep of the Schmiedhof. With romantic winter hiking trails and breathtaking peaks. Everything can be reached on foot or with the free ski bus that stops in front of the Schmiedhof. What a great advantage!

Skiers will feel particularly at ease at Watles, just a 5-minute drive from us, and also in the nearby ski areas Belpiano-San Valentino, Nauders and Solda. Especially for families with children, the sunny Watles ski area is the first choice when it comes to skiing and fun. Also thanks to the children's ski school BUBO of the Watles ski school! For those who prefer to enjoy the cold season in a quieter way and far from the hustle and bustle, we recommend a snowshoe hike through the snowy meadows and forests of Slingia. Mountain lovers can expect a beautiful ski tour to Peak Watles or Piz Rasass (2941m)!
